Hotel X Toronto Wedding Video | Tory & Grant
Tory and Grant were married at Hotel X Toronto on the Saturday before Christmas, with ninety of their favourite people, a room framed by Christmas trees, and the city skyline through the windows.
Hotel X sits right on the water at Exhibition Place, with the skyline on one side and Lake Ontario on the other. A late December date turned the whole place into something out of a snow globe. Their highlight film captures the day the way it actually felt: unhurried, personal, and full of the in-between moments that are easy to miss in real time. Press play and watch it unfold.

How the day unfolded
The morning started early in the Pearl Room with hair and makeup, breakfast sent up by the groomsmen, and a bridesmaid dance party that mixed Taylor Swift with Christmas music. Tory's mom helped her into her gown wearing blue, because Tory had decided her mom would be her something blue.
Before the ceremony there were two first looks: one with her dad, and one with Grant. Then, at five o'clock in New Fort Hall, as Tory walked down the aisle, snow began to fall over it. In a room lined with Christmas trees, it landed exactly the way you would hope.
While the hall was flipped for dinner, everyone rode up to The View on the 27th floor for cocktail hour, with the city and the lake going dark below. Back downstairs came dinner, speeches that ran from tears to laughter, the parent dances, and a dance floor Grant opened himself by calling Tory up for Dancing Queen. An audio guestbook collected messages all night.
By the end there were glowsticks, heart shaped glasses, and Tory in her Wife of the Party jacket, with the night closing on All I Want for Christmas Is You. It was that kind of wedding.
Filming a winter wedding at Hotel X
Hotel X gives a wedding film a lot to work with. New Fort Hall holds both the ceremony and the reception, The View on the 27th floor puts the entire skyline behind cocktail hour, and in December the sun sets before the ceremony even begins, so the city lights do half the work.
