Our feature films are for couples who love a highlight film but want more of it. More moments, more of the story, more of the day to return to.
It is filmed the same way we film everything, quietly and documentary style, following the day as it happens. The feature film simply gives that story more room. If you have watched our highlight films and wished they ran a little longer, this is the one.
Every wedding we take on is filmed by one of us, Dario or Kyrill, the two people who started Silver Leaf. When your package includes a second videographer, they come from a small group we have worked beside and trust.

What it is
What is a wedding feature film?
A feature film is a longer edit of your wedding day, usually ten to fifteen minutes. It is still a curated film, not a full real-time record of everything, so it holds the best of the day with more space for the moments that matter. More of your vows and speeches carry through, and the story builds from the morning to the last dance.

The packages
Where the feature film lives
The feature film is included in Complete. It can also be added to Essentials or Classic for $1,500, and you always keep the highlight film too, since that is in every package.
All prices in CAD, plus HST. Every package can be customized. Add the feature film in the builder and the estimate updates as you go.

Things couples ask us
How long is a feature film?
Usually ten to fifteen minutes. It is a longer, fuller version of a highlight film, with more of the day and more of your vows and speeches.
What is the difference between a feature film and a highlight film?
A highlight film is short, up to five minutes, cut tight for easy sharing. A feature film is longer, with more moments, more story, and more of your own words. If you love the highlight film and want more of it, the feature film is the natural step.
Is a feature film still documentary style?
Yes. We film it the same way we film everything, quietly and as the day unfolds. The difference is length, not approach. A feature film is a longer, curated edit of the real day, not a full real-time record of every minute.
Do feature films include vows and speeches?
Yes. We weave in the parts of your vows and speeches that carry the story, with far more room for them than a highlight film allows. If you want the full ceremony and every toast kept whole, see our edited ceremony and speeches.
Can we have both a highlight film and a feature film?
Yes, and that is how it works. The highlight film is in every package, so adding a feature film always means you have both: one to share, one to sit down with.
Is the feature film included in your packages?
It is included in Complete, and it can be added to Essentials or Classic for $1,500. Full details are on our packages page, or set it up in the package builder.
Who will actually film our wedding?
One of us. Dario or Kyrill is on every wedding we take on. If your package includes a second videographer, they come from a small group of people we have worked with and vetted ourselves.
When do we get the feature film?
It is delivered together with the rest of your films. For the Complete package that is within 5 months of your wedding date, with two rounds of revisions in the 30 days after delivery.
Do you travel for weddings outside Toronto?
Yes. We are based in Toronto and film across the GTA, Muskoka, Niagara, and Southern Ontario, with destination weddings by request. Outside the GTA, travel is $1 per kilometre, per videographer.
