Common questions

What is documentary-style wedding videography?

It means we capture your day as it naturally happens, without staging or heavy direction. We film unobtrusively so genuine emotion and real moments lead, then shape them into a refined, timeless film.

How is it different from a cinematic wedding film?

Documentary filmmaking puts authenticity first, while cinematic refers to the polish and storytelling in the edit. We blend the two: we film your day as it unfolds, then craft it into a film that feels emotional and true to you. If you are comparing styles between studios, our guide on how to choose a wedding videographer covers what to look for.

Do you pose or direct couples on the day?

Very little. Aside from gentle guidance during portraits, we let moments happen on their own, so your film reflects how the day actually felt.

Do you capture audio from vows and speeches?

Yes. Clear audio is central to how we work, so we use dedicated equipment to capture your vows, speeches, and the key moments with clarity.

How long are your films?

Highlight films run up to five minutes, and feature films are ten to fifteen. Most couples start with a highlight film and add a feature film if they want the longer story. Our guide to the types of wedding films explains what each one is for.

Do you work with photographers and planners?

Always. We coordinate with your photographer and planner so the day flows smoothly and nothing gets in the way of the moments.
