A proposal is one of the most intimate moments in your story, a quiet pause where nerves, hope, and joy all arrive at once.
We film it discreetly and keep the edit calm and timeless, so you can relive the surprise, the reaction, and the start of what comes next. We are a Toronto proposal and wedding videography team, filming across the GTA and Southern Ontario.
Silver Leaf is the two of us, Dario and Kyrill. We plan the hiding spot with you, we are out of sight when it happens, and the only person who knows we are there is the one asking.

What we capture
The whole moment, not just the question
Our proposal films follow the story around the moment: the wait, the stillness, and the rush of relief right after. The moments leading up to it, the reveal and the reaction, the celebration, and the small details that are specific to the two of you. We stay unobtrusive and out of sight, so the moment stays natural and uninterrupted.
The wait
The walk in, the last look at the ring, the nerves you will laugh about later. The film starts before the question does.
The reaction
The moment itself and the face that follows it, filmed from a distance with real sound, so nothing about it is staged.
What comes right after
The hug, the phone calls, the friends who were hiding nearby. A short portrait session if you want one.
Booking
The first chapter of your story
Proposal films start at $1,000, shaped around your location, how much coverage you want, and extras like a short portrait session or a quick teaser edit for sharing right away. Many couples keep it as the first chapter of a bigger story.
All prices in CAD, plus HST. Proposal films are quoted separately from the wedding packages. Reach out with your plan and we will shape it to what you have in mind.

Do you film surprise proposals in Toronto?
Yes. We discreetly film surprise proposals across Toronto, the GTA, and the surrounding areas, keeping the moment natural and intimate while we capture it.
Will my partner notice the cameras?
No. We work quietly and position ourselves carefully, so the surprise holds and the reactions stay real.
Can you help plan the proposal?
Yes. We are happy to advise on timing, location, and logistics so the moment goes smoothly and is captured well. Light, sightlines, and where the two of you will be standing all matter, and we have done this enough times to know what works.
Do you film indoor and outdoor proposals?
Both. We film everywhere from private indoor settings to parks, waterfronts, Toronto landmarks, and destination spots.
How long is a proposal film?
Usually one to two minutes. We can also cut a short teaser for same day or next day sharing.
What does a proposal film cost?
Proposal films start at $1,000 CAD plus HST, depending on location, coverage, and any extras like a portrait session or a teaser edit. We will shape it to what you have in mind.
Can a proposal film be combined with engagement or wedding films?
Yes. Many couples keep their proposal film as the first chapter of a larger story, paired with their engagement film and wedding films. If you book a Classic or Complete wedding package later, the engagement film comes free with it.
How far ahead should we book?
We suggest at least four to eight weeks ahead for Toronto and the GTA. For destination proposals or busy dates, earlier is better.
Who will film it?
One of us, Dario or Kyrill. We keep proposal crews small on purpose. The fewer people in the hiding spot, the better the surprise holds.
