What is a Documentary Highlight Film?
A Documentary Highlight Film is a short, story-driven wedding film (typically about 5 minutes) that focuses on authentic emotion over staged perfection.
You’ll see the big moments—ceremony, portraits, speeches, first dance, party—but also the in-between moments you didn’t even know happened.
What makes it “documentary”?
Candid coverage: real interactions, not forced posing

Not at all. Our entire philosophy is built around capturing authentic moments as they happen. Aside from a short creative session (usually alongside your photographer), we film in a documentary style—so you can focus on your guests, not the cameras.

We choose music that matches the tone and pacing of your day—cinematic, emotional, and timeless. If you have preferences (romantic, upbeat, instrumental, indie, etc.) we’ll use them as a guide, and we avoid anything that feels trendy in a way that won’t age well.

Absolutely. Audio is what turns a music video into a story. We use high-end, discreet lavalier microphones to capture your vows and speeches with crystal-clear quality. We then weave these spoken words into your highlight film to drive the narrative.

We put a lot of care into the editing process. Typically, you will receive your final Highlight Film within 8 weeks of your wedding date. We focus on quality over speed to ensure every frame is perfect.

Yes—raw footage is available as an add-on. Your highlight film is a polished, cinematic edit; raw footage is every clip we captured, unedited, as an archive.
