Victoria and Nicolas began their day beneath the soaring Gothic arches of the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph, one of the most striking churches in Ontario, then brought the celebration to the Mississauga Grand for the evening.

Getting Ready in Two Towns
The morning started in two places at once. Nicolas and his groomsmen suited up in Mississauga, while Victoria and her bridal party took their time at a quiet property out in Centre Wellington, with soft light and no rush. Mornings like these are where documentary filming earns its keep. Nobody performs for a camera while a dress is being steamed or a boutonniere pinned, and those unguarded minutes often become some of the most honest moments in the finished film.
A Ceremony at the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate
There are few churches in Ontario like the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate. It rises over downtown Guelph in Gothic Revival stone, and it changes how a ceremony feels the moment you step inside. Victoria and Nicolas were married there just after midday, with both families filling the pews beneath the stained glass.
Our job as videographers in a space like that is to stay invisible. We keep our distance, let the ceremony breathe, and trust the room to do the talking.
Portraits at the Church and in the Countryside
After the ceremony we stayed on the basilica grounds for family and bridal party photos, tucked away from the main doors for a little privacy. Then the whole party headed back out to Centre Wellington, where the afternoon gave us time for relaxed portraits of the newlyweds, indoors and around the property.
An Evening at the Mississauga Grand
By late afternoon everyone was on the road to the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Event Centre. Cocktails and a receiving line eased guests into the evening, and then the doors opened: grand entrance, straight into the first dance. Dinner rolled through speeches and dances with the parents, the cake was cut, and the party took over from there. With Greek family in the room, we would not have expected anything less.
